I love golf, but it is pricey enough before having to upgrade your clubs every few years. As such I've been plugging away with almost the same sticks since HS.
Driver: ping LS Tec. An upgrade I made a couple years ago. I'd still have my Cleveland Launcher if the loft wasn't 10.5 This is probably the club I am least attached to.
3-wood: Callaway Steelhead. A micro club by today's standards, it feels sweet to see it soar.
5-wood: Golfsmith Hi core. My dad delved into fitting for grips, shafts, and this is a remnant of that.
Irons 4-9: Ping Eye 2 BeCu. My most recent "upgrade". I got them last summer for $100ish. They were beat to shit, but I cleaned them up. Got them re-gripped and the play nicely.
Bonus 10 iron: Big Bertha (2010?) my dad gave me this as a gap filler.
P-Wedge: Clarion Custom. It goes 100 yards. Always. It is also 30 years old. The face is worn down but I trust it more than my putter when I am on the fringe of the green.
56* Cleveland Tour Action. It goes 80 yards. Always.
Putter: Ping G5i B60. Workhorse. No frills.
I’ve never seen this in my life nor has anyone in my family does anyone know where this comes from?
