I'm fine with being 5'4"

Using public transportation, being short has its advantages. When boarding a plane, I never once have given any thought to the chance of bumping my head. However, once seated, I get a warm fuzzy feeling, as I watch tall people walking down the aisle hunched over. As they get to their seat, they have to contort their body to fit into the provided space.

I even chuckled while typing this.

Obviously, there are some disadvantages to being short. Among them is reaching items on an upper shelf. However, that is what step stools are for. I worry less about low hanging lights or branches. On balance, I like being short.

I realize the concern a lot of guys have is dating. As a gay (bottom) man, who has been with my partner for several decades, being short and looking about a decade younger than I am was actually a positive.
