People here understand the show more than most people oddly

When I first started watching the show I really enjoyed it, I like the humor the game mechanics and especially the characters I liked how you could tell that something deeper is happening and I think the show is really solid

Then it got on my for you page and I’m like oh what do other people think and most of it is straight up garbage just a lot of weirdos with really bad takes and on Jax especially and I would rewatch the show thinking did I miss something I never felt like he did anything egregious.

But as I rewatched the show I picked up on things just by looking at their body language like in episode 5 when he pushed away pomni if you look at his expressions you could tell he was just angry in the moment and I from my only personal experience understand it because he’s on edge.

when I hear people say Jax is a bad character it pisses me off because it’s missing the entire point of the show, you gotta put yourself in the positions of these people they just lost their friends days ago and there devastated it’s hard to describe other than from personal experience so when I hear a generic Jax wants to be masculine and hide his feelings, I can’t help but just cringe. The point of the show is to find meaning in a stagnant life he straight up said there stuck so from personal experience it puts a lot of the moments in the show in context like the maid outfit I thought it was just a hahah funny I liked it but looking back imagine someone talked behind your back about not having friends and then put you in a maid outfit and started laughing at you it’s not that Zooble and gangle were being mean they just thought it would be funny and that’s what I like about the show there not bad people and they don’t act out of malice they just do it because there people who have quirks and their own independent lives that’s why I really love the show and I can’t help but feel let down when I see people crashing out at the person who made the show over what character she wants to focus on to deliver the message of the story.
