Stereo installation challenges. Bought a used boat and was told up front the stereo was not functional, so all good. It was an old Sony stereo, so I bought a new Sony stereo. I have to rewire the din connection in because it is smaller than original. Black (ground) wire and red (power) wire have power. Yellow battery wire is also connected. Inline fuses are new. The stereo will not power on. Thought maybe the new stereo was defective, so ordered a second one and it will not power on either. Key is turned to ACC and radio switch is on, but no luck. Hoping someone on here has a thought? Thanks!
