We are very excited for our trip in September/October. We had booked our flights earlier in the year and are now finalising the itinerary. We have the following plan for our 3-week trip, but have some concerns regarding Chuseok (24-26 Sept) and the amount of days we spent at places.
19 Sept | Arrival in Seoul late afternoon
20 - 26 Sept | Seoul + Daytrips to Andong, Seoraksan, etc. Avoid travel during Chuseok
27 - 28 Sept | Early Morning train to Gyeongju on the day after Chuseok
29 - 01 Oct | Bus/Train to Busan in the morning
02 - 07 Oct | Fly to Jeju
08 - 09 Oct | Fly to Gwangju and take a train to Jeonju
10 Oct | Train to Seoul + Flight back same day at night
It is hard to put in all locations we want to go during our trip, but I would love to hear your opinion on the amount of days we are spending at certain places. Also, is it easy to get train tickets for the day after Chuseok, as it still the weekend (Sunday)?
