Why is Tampa considered splatterpunk by some?

This is a genuine question. I understand it's a book that deals with heavier topics, but if Tampa is considered splatterpunk, why isn't Lolita? Is heavy topics = splatterpunk now? Where's the splatter part?

(Tampa is an amazing book, I love it. No shade to the readers. I'm just confused, lol)
