So, I've been looking for a way to help relax my habit of picking up random back issues and just having a collection of different things and I think I found the series I want to collect...New Teen Titans! I grew up a fan of the cartoon (I have their communicator sound as my text notification sound) and love the characters, but I've never read their comics before so I thought this would be cool to do. Also, for their first run (1980-84) the only "expensive" issue I saw was issue 2 (first Deathstroke) so it's doable! (I got the first issue of Judas Contract because it was right after issue 1 so I figured why not?)
