Recommendations for purchasing Audiobooks

So, I wanted to check an audiobook out from my local library's app ... Only to find out there's a 6 week wait on the audiobook despite digital books not working like that. I know libraries have reasons for only letting a set # of people check out an e-book at any one time, but it's still annoying.

If I wanted to purchase a copy of said audiobook for my own, where would you all recommend? In the past, I would have gone to audible, but audible is an amazon-owned company, and I am trying my damndest not to give Jeff Bezos any more of my money.

Help finding a fantasy book from the past

Hello, Reddit.

I'm trying to find a fantasy book that my family listened to on vacation when I was a teen. I remember the story vividly, but I cannot for the life of me remember the name. I'm hoping that if I describe the story, someone here will recognize it.

The main character is a princess names something like Shimmerine, which the book goes into detail about how she's not a "proper" princess. In the opening chapter, she tries to learn swordplay, then magic, but her parents shut her down each time. She runs away, and ends up "captured" by a dragon by the name of Kazul. During the story, she runs into a lot of minor magical shenanigans, like accidentally uncorking a genie, or visiting a witch, but the main conflict is with the wizards, who in this world are essentially magical parasites. They have a plot to kill the king of the dragons, have Thier co-conspirator dragon become the new king, then use the dragon king's hoard of magical items to essentially steal all the world's magic. But Simmerine, another princess who's name I forget, and a prince who is made out of stone due to a different magical test all put a stop to that. Kazul ends up the new dragon king, and that's where the story ends.
