I'm a complete beginner and have only been shooting photography for about 10 days. I often feel like I have a good idea in my head, but when I actually take the photo, it comes out feeling totally different from what I imagined.

I'm using a Leica D-Lux 8 and I'd really appreciate any advice on how to improve!
