When I saw the Galactic red and yellow version, I immediately made the connection that the Lynx is definitely made for SAR operations. Very likely it was inspired by the identical Canadian CH-149 SAR color scheme. If it’s all just coincidence then it’s a really close coincidence.

We used onto laugh about this helicopter back in the day cause it always reminded us of “McDonald’s” so we’d call it the McDonald’s paint scheme.

I mean it couldn’t be more obvious, the ship being released for the CG dedicated to “rescuing” civilians from burning stations. That sounds a lot like SAR to me.

Anyways I’m glad we got a SAR ship in the game. Been enjoying flying it and doing the CG.
