Hi everyone! I'm applying for the 2027 Development Track and struggling to interpret one of the application questions:
"How do you describe the intended tone, feel, and visual style of your script? We encourage you to include examples of other work as references or inspirations (150 words max)"
The part tripping me up is "include examples of other work as references or inspirations"; does this mean they're looking for actual visual references (mood boards, stills, etc.)? Or is it more like comps, where you name comparable films/shows and reference specific scenes in written form?
Would love to hear from anyone who's gone through this process before. Thanks!
