I’m throwing darts for RBs. But being a heavy WR should I alter my draft strategy?

When is the best time to Draft? My league always procrastinates and we draft mid August. I’d rather draft closer to the actual NFL draft, but some of my league-mates have mixed feeling with it. Reasons they give: Injuries and legal situations can alter the rookies placement or even being apart of a team. I feel it’s apart of the game and that’s something that can happen at any point even after drafting late.

Just want to get some feedback on others around the world when it comes to when to draft.

Of course this is Fantasy, and every league is different.
