Check if the city you are going to // will be at will have public transportation. Some do, some don’t. Also, buy groceries the day before, do not have huge plans for the day, and have a plan B. Just to play it safe. [ps.: I KNOW that in city A, city B or city C the public transport system will run as usual. That’s why I said *check if*]. May 1st is more respected than Christmas around here haha
