Devices not recognized as Local by Plex
Hi everyone,
I've been browsing the sub for a bit today, but I am hitting the same wall:
- I have a router connected to my ISP modem, with Ethernet connection for my computer; Wifi for Chromecast, mobile phone, ipad. Computer & Chromecast can connect to Plex (locally), phone and ipad show the 'Remote watch Pass' message. Same for my PS5, but I read it may be due to latest updates.
- I disabled my Norton and Windows firewall as a test, same issue
- I checked for Double NAT, it is not (or at least it shows the correct IP address while using the 32400 port info)
- 32400 is forwarded through my router and firewall
- The devices are on the same wifi network and frequency (we don't have Guest network activated)
- I checked the 'Local network' setting on ipad to allow the Plex app
I've seen in other threads the submask configuration/check, or that to parameter my LAN network I need the PlexPass in the end, but I'd rather clear any other items I may have missed before having to subscribe if it comes down to it.
