Hi all! I'm a photographer but sometimes hobbyist videographer and I've recently started doing a bit of event work for my job.

I do it with my own equipment and am looking for a good way to keep my equipment powered. I have a Sony a6700 that I use with a feelworld monitor.

I have a decent amount of batteries for the a6700 but I don't really want to deal with changing batteries often and want a way to keep my equipment powered throughout event, I also only have 1 battery for the monitor which is another reason im looking at Vmount.

However I keep seeing horror stories about v-mounts frying cameras. I'm looking at a K&F concept or a neewer battery from amazon and want to make sure I dont destroy my equipment so what are my best options? I was planning on powering my camera and monitor over USB C but I wasn't sure if maybe a dummy battery is safer?

lastly if I should use one or the other should I get voltage regulated cables?

Edit: I've also been considering np-f970 instead, does anyone have experience with those? It seems they could be a good alternative to V -mounts that would eliminate the camera getting fried issue.
