Please help, I can’t remember the name of this series.

Hi, I have been looking for the name of this series I read from my public library about 3 years ago. I have moved but I have called the library and they couldn’t help me.

Here’s what I remember:

Main character was a modern-day guy from Earth and he randomly woke up in the fantasy world while out walking his dogs

He did not speak the language at first and people treated him badly because of it

The world had a literal level/progression system with some kind of interface

People advanced by harvesting and consuming large orb/core things from defeated enemies ( I swear it was called tael)

There were different specializations/classes like combat and medicine

There were knight/faction groups associated with different colors and ideals/values

The MC became the disciple/chosen of some kind of forgotten war god or samurai-type god that had not had a disciple in a very long time

MC used his engineering/modern knowledge to improve quality of life in the world and eventually helped introduce guns/firearms

He eventually became a king/ruler

At some point he figured out travel between Earth and the fantasy world

He brought his wife from Earth into the fantasy world

His wife was later murdered, which sent him on a revenge arc

He brings Stephen Hawking back to the fantasy world and Hawking could then walk and then helped him figure out how to attack the “gods” of the world.

They brought a submarine back to the fantasy world and used this to travel to where the gods were.

I know some of these details sound insane together, but I distinctly remember all of them being from the same series. It’s driving me nuts. Please please please help 🙏🏼

I use to love this game so much. I can think of at least 9 friends I spent hours playing with over the years. Haven’t played much recently but just cleaned up the final trophy: Final Form. Very satisfied right now.
