I recently bought a Segway Navimow i105E and I’m honestly a bit frustrated and unsure if this is normal or if I got a bad unit.
My lawn is about 250–300 m². It’s fairly open, no big trees, and the antenna and mower both have clear sky view. The app reports “good” placement and fast satellite lock.
However, I’m seeing a few issues:
The mower “wanders” and makes a lot of small corrections, especially near edges
It doesn’t move smoothly in straight lines as expected
Most concerning: it often struggles to find the charging station.
I’ve already:
Remapped the lawn with smoother boundaries
Checked satellite signal (seems decent overall)
Made sure there’s no obvious obstruction
Still, the behavior feels unstable and inconsistent.
So I’m wondering:
Is this just how Navimow behaves in real-world conditions?
Or does this sound like a faulty unit / bad GPS calibration?
Any tips or similar experiences would be really appreciated!
