I’m currently in a house that was built in 1969 and from what I can tell has all the original aluminum framed “storm” windows. I don’t know much about them but they were easy enough to figure out how to disassemble and reassemble to clean between the panes of glass. However when it comes to the front window I’m at a bit of a loss. The inner “picture” window glass is stationary and sealed to the frame with silicone while the outer pane is moveable(but is it RE-movable?) once the sliding side windows inner and outer have been removed. Any tips to get the outside glass pane out so I can clean it and reach the inside of the inner pane(which is stationary).
