I’ve watched a lot of films, and here are my favorites:
Incendies : My absolute favorite. From start to finish, not a single scene felt unnecessary. The acting, the story, the visuals everything was perfect.
Requiem for a Dream : After watching this film, it really changed something in me. Especially the ending, it was very powerful.
Inception : The idea is incredible. I really liked the story and the ending.
Dune: Part Two : The first one wasn’t that great, but the second was amazing. I’m excited for Part Three.
Memento : A film with a very strong plot that you can only understand if you pay close attention from beginning to end.
Movies I think are overrated :
The Shawshank Redemption : It’s good, but I don’t think it deserves to be the highest rated movie on IMDb.
Fight Club : The ending felt predictable and not that strong. There are much better plot twists in movies like Oldboy, Incendies, or Shutter Island.
Prisoners: I didn’t like it much maybe Hugh Jackman’s performance is the only thing that saves it.
Sinners : Bad in almost every way.
Whiplash : Just screaming
