Dog died today.

Hello everyone

Yesterday I posted the message 'my dog is dying tomorrow' because I was unsure what to do with her last moments. I want to thank everyone for the kind words.

She had the best day ever with steak, hugs, kisses and a lot of sunshine. Still, it feels like a part of me left my body. It is the weirdest feeling ever. Now its time to go on without her I guess.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for giving advice. And for everyone who is going through the same: talking to someone about it helps :)

My dog is dying tomorrow.

My dog is only 7 years old and I already have to say goodbye. This is a whole new feeling for me and its the worst news I have ever gotten. Does it ever go away?

She got diagnosed all of a sudden with diabetis last week and today she got hurt pretty bad during a walk. Surgery costs 2000+ and odds are pretty high that she would still be in a lot of pain after the surgery anyway. She cant even walk on 4 legs without crying. It hurts that we have to say goodbye already but she wouldnt be happy anymore living in all the pain+diabetis.

Any advice on how to keep going without her? The house will feel so empty everyday...

Thank you
