Does the soul outlive bodily death is not for me to say

Only know for us all there is a last night and day

Death does not respect people of money and fame

And as the poorest of the poor does treat as the same

Immortality for human beings is based on a lie

We are born into life to eventually die

And of these places for the soul known as heaven and hell

Any deceased person as of yet has not come back to tell

The president, the billionaire, the queen and the king

Death treats as equal as to poor people and this is a good thing

And since death is natural it is obviously clear

That it is only the fear of it that we do fear

Between the wealthy and the poor it does not differentiate

Equality between people death does create.

There is more to living of life than money or fame

Though these two can make yours quite a well known name

On the so called ladder to success and achievements they may help you climb far

But they do not tell of the sort of person you are

Such as if you are humble and generous and kind

Or if to to the needs of the self you are only inclined

It is something most people of should be aware

That the most successful of people are those willing to share

Some of their money to help those of helping in need

And in so doing for themselves sow karma's good seed

If with their money some joy to the poor they do bring

This in itself is such a wonderful thing

It is not what you do for yourself but what for others you do

That tells of the good in the one that is you'

How come many in the position of great power are of criminal mind

And to serve the needs of the self are only inclined

For themselves and their families and their wealthy friends they only do rule

And in their derogatory words of them to poor people are cruel

The needs of the self they only pursue

These so called leaders who to their higher selves could never be true

Some refer to them as the honourable but honourable for what i might say

Since i do not see them as honourable in any sort of a way

In the annals of human history not many honourable leaders for one to recall

Since an honourable ruler would lead for all

And not for self and close kin and the super wealthy privileged few

That there were never many honourable rulers is not saying what is new

And it does seem a sad thing for to have to say

That there are not many honourable leaders in the world of today.

It is not a nice thing of for to be aware

That truly honourable people are becoming more rare

We read of many people in the Epstein files by many admired

Who even of their names mentioned in this leaves a lot in them to be desired

In the Epstein files no mention of anyone living in poverty

In this one can only come to the conclusion that it seems to be

That among the poor where many cannot afford a second hand car

That the majority of the the honourable of people are

So many of the wealthy and famous who are guilty of serious crime

Who should be behind bars serving prison time

But having said this it would only be true to say

That many of the wealthy and famous are not of this way

But money can corrupt as a truism remain

And the meaning in this its own self should explain

Life is a great teacher in truth one can say

And we learn as we live something new every day

And the words of a wise person worthy of recall

That those who claim to know everything are those who know little at all

Life as a teacher its lessons are not few

And every day from it we learn something new

And wisdom does not belong to the elderly one comes to realize

Not everyone as they age become more wise

We age rather quickly and youth does not last

And we only can learn from our mistakes of the past

The fact is we never stop learning and fact never lie

And we will be learning from life until the day we do die

Or for as long as the gift of memory we retain

Life as our greatest teacher with us will remain.

Ignored by the literary critics as a poetaster the young man of rhyme

But to me in writing his rhyming poetry he is not wasting his time

For he is very talented and good at what he likes to do

And his writing is original which is most important too

One in his early twenties but in truth one can say

Out of writing rhyming poetry very few make a living today

Rhyming poetry used to be popular but this is going back in time

So few of readers nowadays who enjoy reading rhyme

That rhyme used to be very popular happens to be so

And was read and enjoyed by many up to thirty years ago

But the twenty first century brought literary changes and literary styles are changing fast

And when it comes to poetry rhyme nowadays is of the past

Of the praises of the blank verse poets the literary critics sing

Though the young rhyming poet in his verses joy to a few does bring

It truly can be said of him with words he has a way

But it is not at writing rhyme that he earns his living pay.

Time that rusts iron has become his foe

He is not the man that he was years ago

A champion athlete in his physical prime

Even the best does eventually lose out to time

A great grandfather in his mid eighties he lives on his own

And of happier days of in life he has known

He only has memories of his happier days in life

When she was living with him his devoted wife

She is in a home for the demented today

Where he visits her often but sad for to say

She does not recognize him which leaves him feeling sad

All he has are the good memories of the good times they had

Though he is showing his age time its own story does tell

Physically and mentally he is feeling well.

You too know some people who do not wish you well

But you could say worse of them than tell them go to hell

You will have worse enemies than those who negative things of you say

You may have many friends but not everyone likes you life works on this way

Acquaintances can be many one has to suppose

But the one with few friends also has few foes

In a world where their money for many is their ticket to fame

The poor are those few of wish to know of by name

Few of those who are born into dire poverty

Are destined to become financially wealthy would you not agree

You will not find one known to be financially down

Among the admired names of any village or city or town

But it would be a wise thing of to be aware

That those of many admirers their foes are not rare.
