Hey, just looking for some advice on a hiring timeline.

I was offered a sales position at a dealership and completed my background check and drug test. A couple days ago I got an email saying my background check was finished and sent to the employer.

HR told me that once everything came in, the dealership would reach out to me, and mentioned I’d probably hear something around May 1st. I haven’t been contacted yet.

I followed up with HR and they just told me to wait for the dealership to reach out.

Is this a normal delay, or should I be concerned at this point?
