Has anyone actually tried and tested this? I got an idea for a heated CO2 tube-housing for the cartridge-ampule. I tried it out on my CP2 carbine, here are the results:
With cheap Aliexpress handlebar heaters (10W) wrapped around the tube, one around the other, and running off of a 2.0 A output powerbank, with thermostat setting of 55 degrees (I doubt that it achieves nearly that much) and after a good 30 mins to let the heat soak into all parts of the barreled action I took out the co2 ampule and it was little bit warmer than my body temperature, so I guess 38-39 degrees C. I left it at the same setting for another 30 mins to be sure it doesn’t creep up more and I got sure that was in fact stable at that same temperature. I will test out how the gun performs when I figure out how to pack it all into a stock as neatly as I can! Any thoughts or ideas?
