quick rundown i;
have 1000+ hours in A3 and 600+ in reforger across multiple milsim units
am 26
speak english and live in the EST time zone
am fairly knowledgeable
have a job and a wife and am not looking for a second job-like commitment
i'd really love a unit that is;
most importantly putting infantry tactics first and foremost with guys that can accomplish difficult tasks
has smart, well thought out operations with reasonable actionable objectives and intel. ideally that build off each other so outcomes in one can lead to effects in future operations.
and has a genuinely interesting setting. no cookie cutter ranger units. i want to do some rhodesian air assault shit, or insurgent, or yugoslav war. cool niche shit.
no standing in formations, or wasting time. i don't wanna show up to some training some night when i could be hanging out with friends or my gf, just for some guy who didn't make the entire group have to do it all over for 30 minutes before actually playing the game, i've done these trainings more times in the past year or two than most people have skipped in their entire time playing arma, i know my shit well but i still go out of respect for the organizers time and to help out. im looking for a unit that shows me the same respect for my time.
i tend to spend most my time in smaller units as they (imho) have less organization issues.
