Hey everyone, any help would be appreciated. I’m trying to solve this engine rattle, it sounded like it was coming from the alternator, and since I had it off, I replaced the belt tensioner and the belt at the same time. And low and behold, $600 later and the rattle still here the noise really does sound like it’s coming from the main body of the alternator, so I’m worried that it might be coming from the actual engine. The car is revved up to 1800 RPM in the video. It’s a 2012 Scion tc.
