I have a boss in my emails impersonating me and interacting with clients through my email. I was never made aware of this until after the fact. My email is also being actively monitored, and I was never made aware of this until recently as well.
I have an active real estate license (not affiliated with them, I don't use it, but i keep it active with someone else) that I need to uphold and maintain. I do work for a real estate company and therefore, if a client has a problem with a message not sent by me, but is signed off by me (my boss behind the email), they could turn me into the board.
Additional info: This was not stated in the contract that I would be monitored. I am signed as an independent contractor and have to give a two-week notice as written in the contract. I am made to feel so uncomfortable at work and so monitored and controlled, I do not even want to show up after sending this email. I need some help and advice. It's a horrible, toxic small business.
My plan is to quit over email tonight. I do have to give two weeks though so I was going to ask if it's an option to part ways here, as I do not feel comfortable coming in.
Any advice or recs ?? Id be forever grateful. I'm so nervous. They really do like to come at me, and I'm faulted for many things that aren't my fault.
