I have 2 invites for 2 months of observerships, i am unmarried, 27F from india

  1. Should i mentioned about planning to do residency in states?

  2. Is it advisable to get another letter of invitation to make it 3months of observership?

  3. Should i mention that i am planning to gove step 3?

Any new advice or anything about the above mentioned doubts?

Hello everyone, I am a non-US IMG with yog 10years and completed my dm in cardiology from the prestigious all india institute in 2023. My spouse is planning on taking up residency in the States. I need your advice regarding the next best step for me to become a board-certified cardiologist in the USA.

I have the following data:

  1. Go through the traditional USMLE → MD→ fellowship pathway (drawback: very high YOG and low chances of matching, and starting everything from scratch)

  2. Get ECFMG certified and give some exam to enter cardiology fellowship training directly (drawback: very limited seats available that way, low probability of success, and will have to leave the state once I am done with training)

  3. Work as a PA and not as a licensed doctor (drawback: I mean, do I even have to say much down-sizing that would be for me)

  4. Licensure by endorsement: idk much about this one, if anyone know, can you please explain it to me

Is there any other possible pathway that I am missing?

Any advice on these paths or a story of anyone yk found success this way or at least has tried any of it? I would really appreciate anything.
