Viltrumites were dumb
I think the Viltrumites were honestly pretty dumb strategically. They already knew their population numbers were extremely low, yet they kept throwing themselves into massive wars/battles/fights and losing more and more Viltrumites every time.
Their logic with wanting to kill Omni-Man never fully made sense to me either. If their whole goal was to find planets where they could successfully interbreed and rebuild their species, Nolan had already proven that Earth and Thraxa were both compatible. Instead of constantly fighting, they could’ve focused on reproducing there, bringing the children back to Viltrum, and rebuilding their population that way.
Going to war nonstop while your species is already close to extinction just seems completely senseless & counterproductive.
