07 MT, issue removing throttle body
Started the process of removing my plenum to change my plugs. I’ve seen the vids changing them without removing it but I already bought new gaskets and figured it was a good opportunity to do some engine bay cleaning as well. Three of the 4 throttle body 5mm hex bolts came right out. One was stripped completely. Couple dabs of penetrating oil and vise grips and It seemed to break loose, then it never started to thread out. Seems It’s spinning on the back female thread side.
Curious if anyone has any tricks for this? Is it a nut back there set in the plastic that’s spinning? Anything back there I can tap and get a slightly larger bolt?
Figure I’ll order new throttle body bolts but I don’t want to cut it off with a grinder if once I get it off I don’t have everything ready to fix it
