Got a 521, with full points in all sections except CARS - 125. I wanna shoot my shot at one or two reach schools like John Hopkins, but would they automatically screen me out due to low CARS, should I even bother?

I asked my 6 letter-writers for a LOR 4 months ago, and they all replied enthusiastically yes, but still haven't submitted the letter. Need advice on how to politely word, "are you gonna submit it or not?" lol
