Variants as products
Hi,
I recently launched my yarn and knitting supplies webshop on shopify.
I chose the following setup:
Instead of creating one product with color variants for each yarn quality, I created one product per color (/variant) and connected them using the sibling/swatch feature in my theme.
I chose this setup in order to have more control over the variant pages - such as multiple images per color/variant.
I have come in doubt whether this is the best setup, especially in regards to SEO.
But also in regards to general maintenance.
And UX - I don’t like that when you have browsed through colors/variants you can’t just press “back”, you have to go back through all the colors you have clicked.
I would really appreciate someone elses input - as I am quite new to this.
