First realistic-ish digital drawing

First realistic-ish digital drawing

First time doing a semi realistic painting digitally. I am making a drawing based on a picture of a friend, haven't done the background yet. Overall I am actually pretty happy with how it is turning out, except I feel like there is almost something uncanny about it? I think the problem is in how realistic the eyes look but maybe I am wrong, I tried making them less realistic with harsher strokes and less blending, but it's not helping. Maybe it's the brows or eyelashes? Maybe I am just not seeing the real problem... Any help will be appreciated.

Watercolor suggestions

Hey, I want to buy some higher quality watercolours but there are a lot of brands, and seems like every youtuber suggests a different brand.

The ones I currently use are ok but on cheaper side, few are chalky, few granulate and don't disperse the pigment evenly. So I wanted to invest into something better.

I think I'd like it to be a smooth color without granulating, not chalky and not lift and reactivate as soon as I put on a second layer.

Any suggestions?

Thank you :)

I am so happy about this journey, and even though my ears are burned in the sun and feet have blisters, I had the loveliest experience.

I hiked the European forest trail in Latvia (sections 2, 3 and 4). I do not recommend section 2 of forest trail as it basically only goes through cities. But sections 3 and 4 are really beautiful.

In the end it was a total of about 50 km and a lot of beautiful nature. On my first night, while being half asleep I heard an animal outside my tent, it was scary, but also nice to think of a forest friend who just came up to my tent to sniff around. Second night I spent literally next to the river.

It was also my first time doing a 2 night hike and such a long distance. Also I got a chance to try out some of my new hiking gear. Very excited and very proud of myself. Once my blisters heal, I'll be discovering the next sections of forest trail. :)

Hi, long story short, I've had this plushy polar bear for 2 years and he has been my emotional support plushie. Due to reasons I am not gonna go into, I have to give it away. I really want to find the brand or whoever made this plushie, so I can buy one for myself (just a different animal) since it has the perfect structure for cuddling at night.

Pretty generic and simple face, front legs longer, has some weighted beads so it would be in a sitting position. Any prints on the tag have worn off.
