Hello, i personally think it’s a bad idea to have Billie Piper, as the next doctor. Here are my reasons as to why:

1. she is a well known companion of the doctor, and therefore it will be strange for me to adjust to her being the doctor
2. i prefer the doctor’s regeneration to be a completely different person, and personality, keeping this in mind i am worried that Billie Piper would just act like Rose but in a way that the doctor would if that makes sense!
3. i also feel like RTD is reusing the actors to gain viewers, for example David Tennant has come back for a special, which i loved! but i wish RTD would be brave enough to use different actors instead of reusing them!
4. i also feel like RTD will use the same type of storyline to bring back an old member of the cast to become the doctor for a special and then bi-generate again to reveal the new permanent doctor for the season, which will disappoint the old fans who came back to see Billie’s return and hope for a permanent return!
