I finally gave in and bought the ultimate road car: the McLaren F1 for Cr. 20,000,000.

I finally gave in and bought the ultimate road car: the McLaren F1 for Cr. 20,000,000.

More expensive than the 1995 F1 GTR, but definitely worth it since it is featured in an Extra Menu. Gonna need more space in my garage as well as a lot of credits in preparation for the other colors to complete the collection! It is perhaps my most expensive road car yet.

In the meantime, though, what other 90s supercars should I put it next to in Scapes?

Which Countach looks better: 1974 LP400 or 1988 25th Anniversary? Why do you think so?

I just can’t stop taking photos of these iconic supercars next to related cars. Also, why did Polyphony base the Type A wing option for the 25th Anniversary model on the 5000 Quattrovalvole model’s rear wing? Is it really an option for the car in the real world?

100% in everything apart from the car collection and Extra Menus, as of version 1.69

I finally had the dedication to complete all Event Directory races today; now I just need to focus on collecting cars to complete the remaining Extra Menus. In the meantime, is there anything else I should discover within the game as I continue to accumulate credits to buy cars?

I know there are a lot of cars I need to buy from Legend Cars, which is my focus regarding car collecting at the moment.

The Corvette with the Z51 rear spoiler is on the right, while the one without a spoiler is on the left. While the one with the spoiler has slightly better stability despite a lower PP in the game, do you think it would look nicer with the spoiler or without it?

First, you might be wondering how you can tell which run is wheel and which one is controller. Watch the wheel in the cockpit view on the top left corner as well as the throttle input on the HUD. On the wheel, I struggled to keep the car from spinning out, while the controller helped me correct it so easily and keep it smooth without spinning out even once, but the throttle, even when I fully press and hold down R2 quickly, increases much more slowly for some reason.

Anyway, the video I present here shows that this drift mission is not impossible on a wheel even as an average player with 300+ hours of racing and even less than an hour of drifting (or trying to drift) on this game, but the DualSense makes each drift mission much easier (and smoother). It also takes a lot of practice and patience to get the run dialed in. It took me a total of more than 100 attempts to get gold on this mission using my wheel, where I had a record of ~4600 points prior to the wheel run you see here, while my DualSense wireless controller run way after my wheel run managed to beat my wheel record by almost 500 points on my second or third try. In both runs, I was using auto gears because 1: the game lets you for this kind of mission, 2: I’m finding it hard to press the paddles while the wheel is turning so quickly to keep the car from spinning, and 3: old habits.

Any other wheel users here manage to complete this particular mission using their wheels? And how many attempts did it take you?
