Leaving my baby for a couple hours

Hello all,

I’m in a bit of a pickle and just need some advice around leaving my boy for the first time.

we exclusively breastfeed and he has never taken a bottle (probably not a good idea but here we are). When he is nearly 7 months old, I have a bachelorette “party” to go to which is just a show for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Nothing too dramatic. BUT I am in bits mentally - I just can’t get my head around how I can leave him - feeding wise. I’m at the point where I am actually having nightmares about leaving him and I’m starting to really struggle with it.

For those of you that have done it, how on earth did you leave your baby and, at the age he will be, how much milk should I be leaving? We are going to go straight to cups when he starts solids and skip the idea of a bottle altogether. All in all I will be gone around 4-5 hours. I also will probably have to take a pump with me for relief as I tend to get engorged after about 3 hours or so.

I’ve only really just started pumping properly with a manual pump as my wearables just never work for me and I’ve never gotten more than 1oz in 30 minutes with them which makes me even more stressed. Ive been getting around 3oz from the manual pump which is more of a relief.

At this point I’m just so so stressed about the idea of going and would rather just not go at all but don’t want to let my friend down as my husband and I already aren’t attending the wedding for a few reasons.

I’ve got 2 months to prepare myself so… any advice??
