Would love to hear how other traders review their performance.
After months of tracking and reviewing my trades, this snapshot reminded me how important journaling really is.
At one point I was close to my target, then gave some back, and ended almost back near break-even. Annoying, but honestly useful.
Without a journal, I would probably just say “bad period” and move on. But when you actually review the data, you start seeing the real leaks: win rate, drawdown, expectancy, weak periods, symbols traded, and whether the issue is the strategy or your execution.
That’s the part most traders skip. Stats are not just there to flex results. They’re there to show you what needs fixing before you touch the strategy.
