I know there hasn’t been any official announcement from the government about ILR rules yet, but I’m curious to hear what people think.

What impact do you think the upcoming local elections could have, especially if Green and Reform gain more councils than Labour? How might that influence immigration policy?

Looking ahead to the next six months, what do you expect? Do you think any changes could come into effect between September and November, or is it more likely that new rules would only apply from 2027 onward?

I understand there’s no confirmed news yet this is just for discussion and to hear different perspectives.
