Since it's Master's weekend, I always get a ton of questions about my time playing competitively from friends and colleagues, so I figured it would be fun to answer a few questions!
To give some background, I've played competitively since I was 9 and got obsessed with it. My senior year of high school, I ended up switching to home school so I could go compete in events after getting a scholarship at a D1 school. I went through Q school, and was lucky enough to get onto the web.com (now Korn Ferry) tour and stick around for a few years. After that, I played around on a few fairly competitive regional tours.
I'm in my early 30s now, and I have no professional involvement in golf...but still play very often. I'm thankful I got to do that for 6+ years, but I can't say I miss the grind.
