Today is one of those days I feel low energy. So after trying to take a nap that did not happen, I decided to take my dog out for a nice 30-45min walk.
Picture me with this very obvious pregnancy bump waddling slowly in the heat with my dog, while this mid-thirties man is passing us in the opposite direction while waving at us in the most chill vibe ever. Usually my dog barks at men when we are alone, but not today, so I waved back. He then proceeds to calmly say “don’t worry it’s almost over, baby” and I started laughing and each of us went our way.
I don’t know if it was his very calm and chill energy, the idea of me looking exhausted and done, or what but that comment made my day!
