2nd year rose, am I being paranoid?

Posting a picture of how it looked last year at its peak. I know people get annoyed by these posts so I figured I’d share a pretty pic first. This is a rose called “easy on the eyes”.

As new growth is coming in I’m suspicious of RRD. I’m aware that new growth can be red but does this seem like an excessive number of leaves coming in? The stem is not green. The leaves are a little small and possibly misshapen. I’m just wondering if I should yank it out before it spreads to my other roses or wait it out and see how it continues to form? Also including picture of another easy on the eyes rose across the garden. Could this have it too? Or is this proving it’s normal growth?

I bought 3 bags of tubers from a big box store-two tubers in each bag so 6 total (I’ve learned my lesson and will buy local now) I am certain that at least one of them has gall. All tubers are planted in separate pots.

The store said I can return- unfortunately they didn’t even inquire what the plant was. I tried to impress upon them that they’re selling infected plants but they didn’t seem interested in the details.

Would you… return plants in their pots and soil? Like just put the pots into a cart and roll to the returns area? Pots are mine but I don’t think I can use anymore anyways?

Dig up tubers and trash the soil and pots myself? Just return bare tubers?

Keep tubers in their individual pots and grow them outside for the season (some of them don’t appear to be infected) and inspect all tubers and the end of the season, trashing the ones that have gall.

Can gall spread to other plants while potted in their own container?

I appreciate your time and thoughts, thanks!!
