Verbiage for firing a client?
Hi! So, this client has been seeing me at my practice regularly for about two years. I’ve always dreaded working on him. He doesn’t do anything “wrong” but his personality doesn’t vibe well with me and he has strong body odor. I’ve tried giving him minimal effort massages, skipping his stinky feet entirely. Recently, I’ve sent him a firmly worded text & charged him a no show fee, which I wouldn’t do for clients I like. He continues to book regularly with me. Since he hasn’t done anything to break my policies, I’m not sure how to gently end the therapeutic relationship. Any advice on how to phrase it? I don’t want to be rude. But I’d rather leave his times open for the clients I enjoy working with.
