Advice needed, building my resume for post grad///
I'm a first year student at UofTSG, i want to do research and lab work so I can build my resume for med school. Some might say its too early to think about it but honestly time flies and with first year already over id rather start "early" ig, i'm an international student so making friends was tough for me I dont have any connections or know anyone from upper grades that can help me with this, idk know where to start from... like who to approach I feel like i havent discovered UofT at all and being alone doesnt help. I do want to volunteer too ( do things other than academic work ) I have applied for Varisty Blues since I used to play soccer seriously ... I regret not starting this year but honestly, the feeling of imposter syndrome got to me so I just put it off. I would love any advice from people that know who will apply to med school eventually, where and how they did lab stuff, research, get close to their profs over time so they would ask for a recommendation letter later on. Yeah that pretty much sums it up
