For context, I am an adult ( 24 F) and my teacher is in his forties. We’ve had a really strange interaction one time when he told me a story about how he got kicked out of music school however his friend had slept with the director and managed to secure his spot.
This conversation than spiraled into the idea of men gatekeeping power from women, unless they submit in s^xaul ways. This especially happens in politics. For some reason my teacher thought it was okay to bring up a very personal anecdote about a time when a director asked him if he wanted to eat her pus… that was his exact wording. It felt so explicit and also irrelevant because I was mostly talking about power dynamics in politics.. he then somehow managed to find a way to talk about how sometimes it’s the students that are actively pursuing the teacher and not the other way around..
We are friendly with each other however this was really out of line compared to any of our other interactions.. even if some of our jokes might have been on the more inappropriate side. For context, I see him twice a week for my piano lessons and I go to his place for my classes..
Not sure what to make of this. I am not sure what his intentions might be?
