Print Issues
Hello!
Is anyone else have print quality issues with their snapmaker U1? I got two units and they both are having gaps in the first layer (see attached pics). If anyone has any ideas/tips to try I would appreciate it. Using Sunlu PETG.
Things I have done
- printed on BIQU plate
- filament calibration in Orca slicer
- manual bed leveling
- increased flow for first layer to 1.04
- switched between classic and arachne wall generator
- did a first layer print test and adjusted Z offset accordingly (changed it -0.02).
- redid all the printer calibration in the settings
- dried filament
Overall, my prints are very poor compared to my P2S and it makes not even want to use the snapmakers.

Edit to add: I have also
- washed my built plates with hot soapy water
- inspected belts
