My fellow Gewehr 43 gentlemen, what is your choice as a replacement recoil spring?
I went with SARCO, but they felt excessively violent. I ordered Wolff to see how those do.

qve ‘45 K43 matching. Receiving a shooters kit very soon.
I have joined the Gewehr 43 club today. All matching Berlin-Lubecker qve code, 1945. The biggest detractor is that someone smoothed the rough finish on the receiver and bolt carrier and then poorly blued it. Not a big deal to me as I’m just stoked to have a Gewehr finally.
Apfeltor was the go to guy for shooters kits, but he’s been retired for awhile now. Who is the new go to? I ordered a new set of recoil springs already and a sight hood, all that’s left is the shooters kit before it can hit the range.
