I used to go to China a lot for work, but my job changed and here I am going to China after a six year gap.

Some questions for the recent travelers to Shanghai, China.

1. Is airport security still really strict, waiting for the bomb sniffers to check your bags before letting you in?

2. I want to take my Letterman Micra with me, but I don’t want the hassle if it will cause problems at subway or hi speed train lines, is all luggage scanned? What can you carry on the subways?

3. Most transactions are Alipay or WePay? Any problems using foreign credit cards at hotels or nice restaurants?

4. Any issues with using DiDi?
