Hey everyone,

Is there anyone here who already lives in Denmark as an international student, has a medium (or lower) level of Danish, and got admitted to the Adgangskursus til ingeniøruddannelserne or is already studying at VIA University College?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, especially how manageable it was with your language level.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I’ve applied for the adgangskursus til ingeniøruddannelserne at VIA University College in Denmark.

My situation is:

  • I applied as a full course student
  • My previous education is recognized as equivalent to Danish high school, but not 1:1
  • After evaluation, I will likely only need Physics B
  • My Math and English meet the requirements

My question is:

👉 If I am officially registered as a full course student but only end up taking 1 subject (Physics B), what are my chances of receiving SU (Danish student grant)?

I’ve seen this note:

But I’m not sure if I would be considered “single subject” or still a full programme student in this case.

Has anyone been in a similar situation with VIA or another Danish university?

Thanks in advance!
