Trading away Etienne for a 2028 1st?

12 team ppr non super flex

My other RBs besides etienne are Gibbs, CMC, Javonte, Chuba, B Rob, JCM, and Bigsby

Guy I’m trading with is rebuilding and has been bottom of the league the last two years. Obviously don’t know what will come of his team by 2028 but i would be expecting an early-mid first round pick with this trade from him.

I am a contender in my league and before last year I found myself in TE trouble really looking to get a new TE. I had Pitts and Theo Johnson and they weren’t looking good for my long term team. So in the draft I grabbed Loveland.

Now I have all three of those guys and they are all very solid although Johnson is a tier down from the other two he’s still very solid. Now I think I have too many good tight ends going into this season and want to move off one. Preferably that would be Pitts than Loveland as he’s younger with more upside and Johnson as I wouldn’t be able to get much back for him.

I have a very small around solid team but I could always use a rb.

Who should I go after and what trade packages do you think would be good? Or should I just keep them all?

I just traded away my 2026 1.11 and 2027 1st round pick away for CMC. I wanted to get a little insight on what you all think about this trade as I feel I may have overpaid a little but I feel I won it.

Long story short my team is the top contender in my league. I won a year ago and got second this year so even my 2027 will most likely be a later pick in the rookie draft. But I frankly didn’t want my 1.11 this year is very wr heavy and I don’t really have much more room or need on my team for another wr especially one that isn’t proven yet. So my thought is I’m getting a rookie wr probably someone like Concepcion at that pick and I’m just going to stash him on my taco squad.

The only way I’d be happy is if I were to get love or price and that isn’t going to happen at 11. So I figured since I’m a contender I should make a move to win now and take the CMC risk because I can afford it if it doesn’t work out.

For reference from before my WRs are JSN, Collins, Tet, Jamo, Wilson, Meyers, Boutte, and Dike. My RBs are Gibbs, Javonte, ETN, Hubbard, and now CMC. I have a pretty all around solid team but as you can see I don’t have as much depth at rb as I do at wr.

So taking all of that into consideration do you think I did good on this trade?
