I posted a couple weeks ago asking about starting dose. Have a 25/1/20 mix and was prescribed a starting dose of 15 units. Ended up doing 10.
I did my first shot today. I was so nervous that my hand was shaking, but managed to get it done. I was surprised by how difficult it was to push the needle in, was kind of expecting that to be easy! The pain was pretty minimal though.
Anyway, I talked with the trainer at my appointment and they recommended 10 units, and after discussion I decided to go with that. First of all, it worked great! About 10-12 minutes after I had the best erection I’ve had in a long time. It lasted a while though…around the 1.5 hour mark I started walking up and down my stairs. At two hours I took two Sudafed and put some ice on. Rotated between ice and walking the stairs for about 45 minutes before it was back to flaccid. So, 2 hour 45 minute total, and who knows how much longer if I had let it go.
Regardless, I am really excited about trying it with my partner…but I think I’ll try 5 units next time.
