I know it definitely depends on your rep but there is a really cool tv show filming in my market that is perfect for my demographic and I love the series so I definitely want to see if I can get an audition for the tv show. The main casting is already done ofc but day player etc roles are casting local to the market. I've never emailed them before about a role or anything filming for them submitting me for so I feel like a one and only time isn't going to be too annoying for them. They are really nice but I dont want to be ~that~ actor as I've heard doing this can cause them to feel like we (actors) dont trust them to submit us for the right type of roles but its actually the opposite for me. They're the best agent I've had but this show is like perfect for me and just want to translate that to them.

Any advice? Should I email them for the tv show or should I just wait to see if I get an audition as they may be already submitting but I just haven't had any luck. I dont know even know who's casting locally so I'm not bringing much information to the table. I just dont want to overstep but I dont want to regret it either because another tv show filmed that in my market that I was a very huge fan that I never got an audition for and do regret not saying anything to them.
